Cairns In A Day is a package designed for those visitors to Cairns who wish to make the most out of their stay. The package offers three options for the morning activity, whether that be the Kuranda experience, a visit to the Cairns Tropical Zoo or perhaps a exhilarating Skydive!

Kuranda Morning Option 

 

7:30/8:30am - Enjoy a historical scenic train journey through the Barron Gorge to the famous Kuranda Markets and village for shopping and sightseeing.

11:00am - Glide over 7.5km of pristine World Heritage rainforest suspended high above the lush tropical canopy on the famous Kuranda Skyrail. 

 

Zoo Morning Option: Cairns Tropical Zoo 

 

8:30am - Experience Cairns’ largest morning zoo program, including the opportunity to ‘cuddle a Koala’ at an additional cost. Included in the tour are the opportunities to feed the parrots, visit the kangaroos, view the Red Panda presentation, snake show and free flight bird show, koala keeper’s talk, crocodile show and more.

 

SkyDive Morning Option 

 

9:00am - Skydive 10,000ft from the latest Cresco 750 aircraft (Australia’s fastest Skydive plane) and experience a 30 second freefall and accelerate from 0 to 200kph vertically in just 10 seconds. Videos, photos and 14,000ft dive also available at additional costs.

 

The Transfer to Down Under Helicopters:

 

12:00pm - Transfer to Down Under Helicopters at General Aviation, Cairns Airport. Your driver will be awaiting. Heli Flight you at the completion of your morning activity, to transfer you to the airport. Here, the friendly staff will provide you with a safety briefing relating to the exhilarating flight that you are about to embark upon.

1.00 pm - 30-Minute Helicopter Flight out to the Great Barrier Reef

Grab a camera for this spectacular, 30-minute flight over the Great Barrier Reef, from the interior of the air-conditioned helicopter with live video-recording system. Aerial views are the only way to really appreciate the tremendous scope and awe of this amazing eco-system!

 

Osprey V, Great Barrier Reef

 

1.30pm - Board the Down Under Dive Vessel Great Barrier Reef

Once at Hastings Reef, transfer over to the Osprey V, a sleek, high speed dive vessel. Spend the afternoon snorkelling, diving or take an informative semi-submersible tour.

3.30pm - Cruise Back to Cairns

Sit back and enjoy the live entertainment and complimentary wine as you cruise back to Cairns aboard the Osprey V cruising at around 25 knots.

5.00pm - Arrive Back in Cairns

End the perfect day in Tropical North Queensland with a drink or a meal in Cairns cosmopolitan town centre or let your driver take you back to your accommodation
